I've told you my theory about how this song is actually part of a triptych with the next two immediately afterward - the first one is about the guy trying to get the girl, the next part is the girl making disdainful remarks about how badly he's playing it, and the last one is after she's grugingly given into the relationship, and the guy is having second thoughts, in a nice reprise of the second song's tune.
